5 Sitcoms I can watch on repeat.

We all have those sad days in life when we have nothing to do, those friendless days, bored of that same old crap you've been listening to (music).
Guess what I do! :P ,
Watch back to back episodes of my favourite tv sitcoms which are unfortunately not aired(not all) any more. I sit back on my bouncy bed in my sweat pants or pyjamas(I can live in them) with either some soda *which is very unhealthy & RiteBite healthy energy bars *yumm yumm.
Here is a fun list of my favourites and the best online places where you can watch them.

1) Hope and Faith

Having troubles with your sibling? Feeling unhappy about having them exist in your life? Hope and Faith, the best sister duo. Whenever I watch them. I love my notorious brother even more. It's such a fun little show which revolves around the lives of the "Shanowski" family and Faith Fairfield a one-time emmy award winner who has lost it all in the glam world. Watch how the family tolerates the nuisance caused by Faith and how her sister Hope Shanowski comes to her rescue.

Where to watch : Most of the series episodes are available on YouTube.

2) Mind Your Language

                                                      Available on YouTube (Few episodes)

3) My Wife and Kids

This is my all time favourite. I have watched this series like a million times that I know each and every dialogue by heart. *weird right. I always dream of living this way and having a happy family and a relationship as amazing as Jay and Michael. It's a much watch if you've had a bad day. Such a mood changer *for me atleast.

Where to watch : Most of the episodes available on YouTube.

4) Greys Anatomy.

This is one addictive show. Life at Seattle Grace hospital. Interesting isn't it. Tune into Zcafe or StarWorld for more or check out their series episodes upto season 3 on YouTube.
Similar Sitcom: Private Practice.

5) The Bill Cosby Show.

                                              Where to watch : Watchseriesonline.com

I hope you enjoyed this fun post. If you did go hit a thumbs up on my yet not so popular Facebook page and you can tweet me on @thestylevoice .

Visit to the Four Fountains De-Stress Spa.

"Monday to Friday" is the most dreadful part of any individuals life. There is just so much work,so much stress that by the end of the week we're all dying for an opportunity to relax ,being a student I go through hectic sessions of constant lectures by the end of which I'm way too exhausted to even enjoy my weekend. Well this week was like every other and just when I thought I was going to spend another weekend on my bed, relief came to me in the form of a spa! I was invited by the Four Fountains Spa team for a day of luxury in the form of a beautiful mind soothing massage.
When I entered the spa I was warmly welcomed by the staff (A point to be noted since other spas generally treat you with indifference, as just another customer) but at Four Fountains Spa I was treated like, for lack of words, "A Queen", Four Fountains Spa sure does know how to relax the mind with the most amazing spas and massage therapies in the book. I have been to my fair share of spas but never once have I come across a spa so true to it's name. The name Four Fountains goes so well with the basic aim of the spa since one day at the spa makes you feel like you're in the midst of fountains that cool you off of all the past weeks stress. Getting to the main point here are the details of the spa.

Ambiance - Just perfect. It is beautiful, there are lovely scented candles around, warm colours, dim lighting,  mind calming music, all this combined, made me feel like I was in heaven! no really!

Hygiene - Everything was spick and span

The Staff - Extremely amiable. They were very pleasant and very efficient.

The actual spa therapy- I got a back, shoulders and head massage and believe me when I say this, I was in 7th heaven. The calming massage lulled me into a beautiful sleep, left me wanting more. The best experience so far.

At the end of my therapy I was offered a warm cup of green/ginger tea which helped me relax even more and I was also given this De-Stress gel which had to be applied to the soles of my feet to give me a good nights sleep.I highly recommend the Four Fountains Spa. Till date no other spa has managed to impress me as much as this. They are sure going to be seeing more of me in the near future.

A day in the life of a depressed soul. {Day 1}

When someone fails to do things you expect them to do. When you need them and they aren't there for you. When you expect them to love you and they don't.
Doesn't it hurt.
You feel left out and alone. Nothing to do, nothing but to think about them. The time you take out for that person comes to no use. To top all of this, that one person who was so close to you and almost lived with you and with who you share everything is moving away slowly. The warmth the encouragement that you once received will all disappear. The thought of it makes it even more worse. Looking at that someone pack bags and leave....It has happened to us all its either we who leave the ones we love or its them who go away. In the end all you have left is memories. Those good times. The days we laughed for no reason. Happy days.

Blog Update

Hey there pretties,
I've been away for a while busy with friends, assignments, books, family, photo shoots etc. This was a real busy month. Somehow I managed to get some time to give you readers this update. I plan to buy my own domain soon. So there is going to be hell lot of work ahead of me. I pray everything goes well with the design and the layout and the other necessary things. I'm actually hunting down some blogger friends for help. Those of you reading this if only you could help me get my work done by giving me some tips. It'll be a blessing! Anyway it's time to wrap up. I hope you guys had an amazing day. Will be writing fashion posts soon. Take care. xoxo

SORRY!

Hey there pretties,
In my last post about October I had promised weekly posts and fun activities every week. Due to personal work and exams I couldn't come up with anything said.. Like other fashion bloggers, I will be posting some everyday looks for fall and outfit of the day pictures. I promise to keep up to this word of mine. As some of my readers have suggested more online shopping tips and stores to shop at. I will get back to doing what I'm good at & hopefully my blog will do well. I also have some fun book reviews and my mini collections. I hope you guys will enjoy my posts.
                                                                            - See you soon.

OCTOBER IS HERE.. :O

Guess who is here.?
                   It's our spooky friend OCTOBER!

And we know what this month is all about..... We celebrate "HALLOWEEN". Something that I always wait for. In India Halloween isn't celebrated as much as it is in the west. Few of the western culture followers are the ones who organise Halloween parties and night outs. I have been living in India for the past 13 years & I never got a chance to be at a real Halloween party. I always thought I would see people in costumes and scary outfits, like I see in movies and sitcoms, in India it's mostly the higher class who have such themed parties. I have been to a few Halloween parties which were pretty normal and not very exciting. All we did was eat and talk about who wore what that day! Anyway.. getting back to this month I have planned a lot of exciting stuff which will be up on the blog every week (starting from tomorrow). From baking to dressing up,gifting and DIYs. Well will have it all. Keep checking Facebook, instagram and twitter for updates.
I will see you soon, till then have fun and be safe..
                                                                                        xx

Choosing your nail colour.

Of late doing your nails for the season is an accessory. Choosing the right colour is a major task and So I decided to post the most wanted and whats on my wish list for nail lacquer this season. I also did a little research for you guys so you can pick the right colour for your skin tone. Lets do our nails runway style.

Choosing your nail colour according to your skin tone is important cuz you don't want your nails to look odd.

Tip : Skin tone to nail polish
          Nail Polish to skin tone

While shopping for nail colour, keep this mantra in mind. If you are Pale choose pale. Choosing the colour that matches your skin tone makes your hand look more feminine. But it's not always the same. Sometimes certain bright colours look good for people who have a dusky and dark complexion. Seasons and trends also influence personal nail polish choices.

Women who have a Pale complexion should avoid dark colours as they make you look much more pale. Try using pastel shades and light colours like baby pink. These colours will make you look.

What to Buy: Essie has a wide range of beautiful pastel nail colours.

Starter Wife (Soft pastel pink)

Now moving to Tan skin, people who have this type of complexion should stick to using warm colours like browns and warm pinks and purples. Avoid Gold and dark shimmer colours. Use more of light blues and pinks.

What to buy? : This is a warm brown tone for tanned skin. It's an earthy tone and very neutral.

Coffee Break by M.A.C.

Women with a Dark complexion can wear deep shades of nail polish. For people with this skin tone the Skin tone to nail polish mantra doesn't apply. Try using deep purple and magenta. It works very well and makes the skin look vibrant.

Tag : What's in my Bag ?

Whenever I go out, I carry a sling bag. I prefer carrying smaller bags and I can find my things easily. If I need to carry bigger bags that match my outfit , everything is upside down for me. I can never find things in bigger bags, like never ever. And whenever I tell people about this Major Stupid girl problem of mine, they wonder what I carry in my small sling. Like how many things can a girl fit into her sling. HOW MANY? :0
So today I thought of showing you what's in my sling bag!

I keep only necessary items and things that I keep using the whole day. Two things I never forget is my Phone and my Money Purse. Cannot live without these. On sunny days I make sure I have sunglasses with me. to protect my eyes from those harmful rays. I also carry a body mist to keep me fresh and a lip balm to keep my face looking a little presentable. *My lips do everything. I have a habit of sanitising my hands before and after lunch/dinner whenever I am at restaurants. And not forgetting my ear-phones. I am a music freak and I cannot live without it so whenever I'm travelling in a rickshaw or car in between my day out. I listen to music. Music is my life. I relate everything to music. Current favourite/obsession : Wrecking Ball -Miley Cyrus. Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. See you soon. Don't forget to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and like my page on facebook. See you next time.

Shopping for Fall/Winter.

So finally this second summer of the year is coming to an end. It's  getting a little chilly here in Pune where I live. I thought of looking up all my regular online stores for inspirations to write this post and I see amazing stuff all over these places. As a plus size girl I too have problems getting in-trend outfits for the season. Now a days many online stores are coming up with a separate plus size section & they are no different from the regular classic outfits you usually get. They have a number of sizes and many return policies which makes shopping easier. Here are a few of my personal favourites.

ModCloth : Click here to shop

BEAUTY BOXES: SAMPLES!

If you are into makeup and want to try different products subscribe to beauty boxes. such as blisscovered, glossy box, velvette box et cetera. As skin tends to dry up during winters, so experimenting with moisturizers and other products wont do any harm.

PRINTS IN-TREND: PLAID, ANIMAL PRINTS,GEOMETRIC PRINTS, KNIT.

COLOURS OF THE SEASON: Moss green, White, Grey, Black.

September Favourites

Hello!
So this month I sort of set a budget for my monthly makeup/product shopping so that I don't go splurge on unnecessary things. (Like I always do!).Guess what? I did pretty well .YAY! And I also learnt that setting up a budget is a great way to save money.!! So from my monthly allowance i.e : approx 1500+ Birthday money = 6500 Rs.
From this 6.5K. I kept aside 4.5K as saving and 2k for my makeup/product stuff. I ran to the nearest department store and took my time picking up some stuff and I purchased barely anything. And whatever I chose turned out to work perfectly for me. Some of the products from my september favourites are gifted and some were purchased earlier and I never tried them or got a chance to review them. So here are my september favourites.

List:

Cocoa Body Butter, The Body Shop (Kuwait)
L'oreal Paris True Match BB Cream
Sally Hansen Nail growth Miracle
Lakme Absolute Fast & Fabulous in #1 Gold Shimmer.
Love Spell Fruity Body mist by Chicphia (Kuwait, Sears)
L'oreal Black Felt liner.

The Cocoa Butter from The Body Shop is like a treat. The soothing fragrance and softening factor is the main reason I go for such products. It's a bit of an investment but its worth it.

The L'oreal paris True Match BB Cream is a wonderful daily moisturizer. Gives you a matt & blemish free finish. In love with this product.

The Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle is really a miracle. My nails were really very short and Sally Hansen guarantees 30% nail growth in 5 days and this really works. I'll try putting up a picture of my before and after nail growth and difference once I'm done with the treatment completely.*HOT FAVOURITE

The Lakme Nail polish in Gold shimmer is perfect for the glam season.

Love spell Body mist is such a refreshing sent. Its fruit as well as floral. Its perfect for the day time. *Its something that I carry daily with me to college or whenever I'm running errands.

L'oreal Black Felt Eye liner is a boon to people with shake-ey hands. I have this horrible problem of shake-ey hands which tend to spoil my perfect liner. So I invested in this liner which gives you perfect straight eye lines. Its perfect all in one use from thinnest lines to thickest.

Hope you enjoyed! For post updates subscribe to my blog via email. Follow me on Twitter @thestylevoice and on instagram @thestylevoiceblog. Take care.

Life : 10 Guilty Pleasures

This is something that I usually don't share with anyone. I keep this to myself. I have some secret indulgences & most of you may have the same. So today I decided to put up some fun stuff on my blog. A few things may be bizarre but that's just me.

1) Ice- Cream with cookies & Jam :

This is so not right. I know your not supposed to have citrus and dairy together. I know that. But who cares I'm going to eat and become this big...bloated..bag of FAT. *which I already am. Anyway....so I love chocolate ice-cream + choco-nut cookies with a whole blob of Blueberry or any other fruit jam. I end up in the (you know where). All teary eyed and with an upset tummy. In the end I'm the one who suffers but I would do anything for this twisty meal.

2) Stealing Good Products from Amazing Hotels:

Who doesn't? Ok thats a question! Well whenever I travel and I check into a hotel, the first thing I do is check out the bath and body products they keep in my room.My inner conscience says.. Thats not the way to behave, can't help it. The love I have for these things is beyond explanation.

3) Shoes !

OMG! Shoes....I'm falling short of breath. While writing this post about shoes. I immediately thought of Steve Madden. I want to be a madden girl NOW! I'm saving money for those beautiful sky high shoes.. Hufff... Can't wait any longer. When I have money in hand on a shopping spree the first thing I always do is buy me some sexy pair of shoes even before the clothing. I decide what I'm going to wear at an event based on the shoe I pick.

4) I can survive with "COSMO".

If the world was going to end and I had to pick one thing...one and only one thing. I would pick my COSMO. I'm a magazine freak and cosmo is my favourite. There is something so different about it. It's something that teaches me so much. I spend nights reading all my cosmos over and over again.

5) Pizza and Coke.

When I say this , I don't mean Pizza and coke had separately. Pizza dipped in coke is good. Thats what I'm talking about. I love this. I'm sure after this post is Published I'm going to get texts and calls saying REALLY! :0 . I have never revealed this to anyone and if your wondering if I do this public! NO I DON'T. *Leave me alone.

6) Picture Perfect.

I'm self obsessed. If you are my follower on Instagram you will know what I'm talking about. Every second day I have a selfie up on my profile. I love clicking pictures. Most of us do. I think this is a guilt free pleasure. *kind of

7) Manicures:

I love collecting nail polish. Have you ever seen my nails. Tiny as ever. *Baby nails. I love experimenting on others nails though *have to , what else can I do with nail polish.

8) CHEEEEESEEEEE!!

Yummmm. Heavenly bliss. Give me anything with cheese and I promise to give you a clean plate back. Thats my love for cheese. Gooey..soft.... Sometimes I go a lil overboard with cheese that I throw up.

9) Pretty Things.

Everyone loves pretty right? And for me pretty things mean stationary. I have a thing for polka dot, pink, lime green combination stationary. Stationary changes my mood. I hate it when white erasers turn black. I love notepads & this makes me happy... I'm weird I know.

10) Grey's Anatomy.

ADDICTED! ADDICTED to this sitcom. Infact I'm addicted to medical drama. I actually pray to God for Shonda Rhimes. *I thank God for her . I love the show only for Mc.Dreamy. I watch so much of greys and waste so much time. The days I don't blog, I'm watching Grey's. And at the end of the day I sit with a sad face, feeling guilty of all the time I wasted and all the food I ate....Feel PHAT!
